SMS Opt-In Process

How drivers consent to receive SMS account notifications

Where opt-in happens

Drivers are onboarded through a personal, secure onboarding link sent individually to each driver. Because that flow is private and login-protected, it is not publicly browsable — this page is a faithful preview of the exact screens involved, rendered from the same content shown to drivers.

  1. The driver enters their contact details, including their mobile phone number, in the driver-information step.
  2. At the "Important Authorizations" step, the driver reviews and checks the Communication Consent checkbox shown below.
  3. The consent is recorded with a timestamp and IP address, and the full consent text is stored with the driver's record. Consent is also captured on the signed vehicle lease.

Step 1 — Phone number collection (preview)

(555) 555-5555

The mobile number the driver provides here is the number SMS account notifications are sent to, subject to the consent below.

Step 2 — Communication Consent checkbox (preview)

This is the exact consent item shown to every driver during onboarding (example shown for the fleet operator SLOCO Inc). The driver must actively check the box; SMS consent is not a condition of the lease.
